UP TO-OUR NECKS IN SHIT!!

The septic tank started overflowing last month into the open uncovered channel that runs only feet from where we live and eat; it runs out through the prison wall into the Chao Phraya River untreated. The very same Chao Phraya River which our shower water is pumped from, into the animal trough’s we communally shower from.

Again this water is not filtered or treated in any shape or form, raw sewage and god knows what chemical wastes are dumped into this river as it winds its way through the heart of Bangkok. Our, this shower water is the cause of so many skin disorders and infections, abscesses, rashes spots and scabs cover many the bodies of prisoners here. Why don’t we have treated mains water?

Because the guards and prison authorities skim and pocket the funds from the government budget which is intended for our treated mains water supply.

From the drawing you can see prisoner’s bare foot and wearing only t-shirts and shorts, no protective clothing or even gloves of any kind. The raw crusted sewage had reached the brim of the septic tank and the overflow pipe which runs into the channel where the wok of a prisoner sits in the drawing.

These prisoners hand dug and bucketed this into the wire barrow. Tons of this sewage were removed over a period of day’s, they proceeded with this barrow right through the middle of our living and cooking area, spilling and leaving a trail of stinking shit everywhere. The nauseating smell and filth was around for weeks after.

Where did they put all that shit??? … In a huge hole they had dug not 2 feet from our living and cooking area.

Again there is a budget for a outside contractor to come in and pump this sewage into a tanker and have it disposed of at a proper sewage treatment plant.

But again as with the water budget, this budget is also pocketed by prison authorities here, in Bangkwang.

In my previous prison Bombut Narcotics remand Prison the story was the same, in building 9 as a form of punishment handed out by guards, I saw prisoners with a rope tied around their waist’s to stop them drowning in shit, up to their chin and diving under shit to unblock overflow pipes.

Again no form of protective clothing provided, even the bar of soap that all they had to clean themselves after was provided by them selves. For the last 60 or 70 years this sewage from between 900 – 1400 prisoners at any one time in this building, has been buried within the small building yard or leaked into Chao Phraya River.

The mains water tank that sits under the building is contaminated by all the dumping of this waste within the building yard.

HORRENDOUS CRIMES! GET OFF LIGHT

                                                                                    

The savagery of the Murder and Rape of 21 year old British Backpacker Katherine Horton in Lamai Beach Koh Samui Thailand.

A small seaside village, I know only to well, as I lived there for many years.

I feel, I should spell out to the British Public and also the British Government, THE TRUTH behind the punishment of those criminals who are sentenced for the most savage of crimes in Thailand.

Firstly, I offer my sincere condolences to all the family and friends of Katherine Horton. I have first hand experience of how Thailand’s punishment or sentences from the courts of Thailand actually break down into number of years served in prison, by a prisoner for their crime.

I’ am currently serving a 33 ½ year sentence in Bangkwang Prison Nonthaburi Thailand, where Katherine’s murderers are also held. Thailand has no real functional parole system for prisoners and apart from a kings Pardon, only amnesties given by the King or Queen of Thailand can reduce a prisoner’s sentence. Yet, for some reason amnesties here in Thailand severely discriminate against even the smallest of narcotics cases and favor the most savage of murderers, as in the case of Katherine.

Let’s look at how many amnesties were administered over the last 10 years here in Thailand.

Comparing what actual reductions in amnesties were given to 2 prisoners. These are based TRUE FACTS!

 

PRISONER A  was convicted and sentenced to 50years imprisonment for a savage Murder and Rape, in fact he could have been convicted and sentenced on any of the following Horrendous crimes:- child molester and killer, serial killer, arsonist. As long as the crime doesn’t involve narcotics, it could be any number of horrendous crimes. All of which would have benefited to the extend I will show in all the last amnesties.

 

PRISONER B was convicted and sentenced to 50 years imprisonment for possession of 20 grams of narcotics. But because his case involves narcotics, it doesn’t matter how small or large the amount of narcotics.

All narcotics cases are very often excluded altogether from any of the amnesties given, or a fraction of the amnesty that is given to a murderer is given to a narcotic case.

 

The following amnesties are actual events and are calculated on, both prisoners A and B being of excellent classification (roll model prisoner), and both being sentenced and their cases being closed (finished in 1996).

 

1996 AMNESTY

 

PRISONER A would have received a half cut in sentence. 25 years off his sentence, leaving him a total now of 25 years to serve.

PRISONER B would have received one fifth cut in sentence 10 years off his sentence, leaving him a total now of 40 years to serve

 

 

1999 AMNESTY

All new murder cases etc. did receive a half cut in sentence this year. But old cases who already received a half cut in amnesty in 1996 only received one sixth.

 

PRISONER A received one sixth cut in sentence.4 years 2 months off his sentence, leaving him a total now of 21 years 10 months to serve.

 

PRISONER B this year received no amnesty at all! Because all narcotics cases were excluded from the amnesty this year.

 

 

 

2004 AMNESTY

PRISONER A  received one third cut in sentence. 7 years 3 months 10 days off his sentence, leaving him a total now of 14 years 6 months 20 days to serve.

 

PRISONER B received one sixth cut in sentence. 6 years 8 months off his sentence, leaving him a total now of 33 years 4 months to serve.

 

 

 

2006 AMNESTY

Has not been confirmed yet!, but the general consensus amongst both prisoners and guards is :

PRISONER A will receive a half cut in his sentence. 7 years 3 months 10 days off his sentence, leaving him a total now of 7 years 3 months 10 days.

Since 1996 until now 2006, he will now be a free man again, with this amnesty and released from prison. Having served a total of 10 years imprisonment of his 50 years original sentence.

 

PRISONER B will receive a one fifth cut in his sentence. 6 years 8 months off his sentence, leaving him a total now of 26 years 8 months still to serve of his sentence.

 

HOW CAN THIS BE CALLED JUSTICE?

How can the crimes of having 20 grams of narcotics for personal use, be justifiably more punishable than the evil monsters of such horrendous crimes mentioned in Prisoner A.

And so much more punishable at that, when you compare the end result of 10 years previous amnesty.

 

EVIL MONSTER WALKS FREE!!

DRUG USER STAYS 26 YEARS 8 MONTHS MORE!

 

I find myself having to live side by side to many such evil monsters and worse!

Knowing they will be released in less than half the time I have to serve in prison.
